Introducing BitLaunch VPN Beta

We’re excited to announce BitLaunch VPN, a new service that brings fast, multi-region WireGuard VPN functionality to the BitLaunch platform. BitLaunch VPN allows you to deploy your own private VPN server across multiple regions in seconds, with no complex setup or command-line required. As with our other offerings, you pay with your favorite cryptocurrency using our in-house payment service and only need an email address and password to get started.

Unlike our existing VPN-on-VPS apps, BitLaunch VPN eliminates the need to wait for setup, manually retrieve configuration files, or launch separate servers for each region. Instead, you select your cities and download or scan the config directly from your control panel.

This launch is a natural extension of our mission to deliver user-friendly, privacy-focused services that you can pay for with cryptocurrency. While many VPN solutions exist, they often require a bank account, a high level of trust, or tedious manual configuration. BitLaunch VPN was built to eliminate those concerns. It utilizes a relay architecture (similar to a multi-hop VPN). This routes your traffic through a secure BitLaunch relay server and then out to a pool of global exit nodes. As a result, no single server ever has the full picture of your connection.

Relay Architecture for Maximum Privacy and Security

With BitLaunch VPN’s relay design, we’ve taken additional steps to safeguard your identity and data. Here are some of the key privacy benefits of this system:

  • IP Address Obfuscation: The exit node never sees your real IP address – it only sees the BitLaunch relay as the source. Your personal IP is hidden from the servers that ultimately connect to the internet.
  • Traffic Distribution: Your VPN traffic is routed through multiple exit nodes dynamically. By distributing connections across a pool of servers, it’s much harder for anyone to correlate traffic patterns to you as an individual user. This increases your anonymity.
  • Reduced Metadata Correlation: Because the relay dynamically selects an exit node for each session or destination, exit nodes cannot easily link your activity across different sessions or websites. Each session looks like it’s coming from a different source, disrupting metadata trails.
  • Minimized Trust Requirement: No single point in the chain has complete knowledge of your activity. The relay knows your identity (IP) but not your final destination, and the exit node knows the destination but not who the user is. Neither the relay nor any exit node ever has both pieces of information, drastically reducing the need to trust any one server.
  • Prevention of Targeted Surveillance: Adversaries will find it difficult to target or monitor a specific user’s VPN traffic. Even if one exit node were compromised or observed, your traffic might be flowing out through another node next time, making single-node surveillance ineffective.
  • Improved Resistance to Traffic Analysis: The separation between your device’s connection to the relay and the relay’s connection to various exit nodes adds a layer of cover against timing or volume analysis attacks. It becomes far more challenging to match up when and how much data you send with when it emerges on the internet.
  • Location Flexibility: BitLaunch VPN gives you access to exit nodes in multiple regions. You can easily switch your VPN exit location by selecting a different region’s config or QR code. This helps you bypass geolocation-based tracking while obscuring your online behavior by mixing traffic across locations.

In short, BitLaunch VPN combines ease of use with powerful privacy safeguards. Getting started is as simple as a traditional VPN, yet you gain the benefit of reduced trust requirements and enhanced resistance to various types of surveillance.

Get started from July 28

BitLaunch VPN will be rolling out as a controlled beta starting the week of July 28, 2025. During this beta period, we’ll be gradually enabling the service for users to ensure everything runs smoothly.

As always, you can also sign up or log in to your BitLaunch account and check for the new VPN feature in your control panel. Please let us know your thoughts via our live chat – your feedback will help us refine the service as we approach a full launch!
